indiecia is built by an indie iOS designer who needed a better way to research app names. I've had a few app ideas over the years, and each time I'd fall in love with a name only to find out it was already taken – or worse, get a rejection after submitting.

The research process was always a pain. Opening multiple tabs, searching different country stores, trying to figure out if a name was truly available. It took forever and honestly killed some of my excitement about building.

I looked around for tools that could help, but didn't find anything that did what I needed in a simple way. Most ASO tools are packed with features I don't need, or the research part is buried somewhere deep inside.

So I built indiecia for myself. It checks name availability across countries, tracks your competitors, and digs into their reviews to surface what users actually want—the complaints and feature requests nobody has built for yet. That's it. Just the essentials in a clean interface.

I'm hoping other indie developers will find it useful too. If you're deciding what to build next and want to ship with a real advantage, indiecia might save you hours of scrolling competitor reviews by hand.
